Meet Dr. Michael Tobey
A Lifelong Commitment to Chiropractic Care
Dr. Tobey has dedicated many years to helping patients feel their best through chiropractic care. After graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, he built a thriving practice focused on personalized, one-on-one care.
What drives him most in his work is the simple joy of interaction: connecting with people and knowing that helping them feel good makes him feel good as well. His naturally positive and optimistic outlook creates an environment where patients feel immediately welcomed and supported.
Dr. Tobey’s path into chiropractic began with personal experiences long before he entered chiropractic college. As a teenager, he faced persistent headaches and other health challenges that were helped greatly by chiropractic adjustments. Later in life, after a sports-related injury, chiropractic care once again provided significant relief and comfort. These experiences showed him firsthand the power of chiropractic and inspired him to make it his life’s work.

An Evolving Understanding of Health
With many years in practice, Dr. Tobey’s perspective on health has deepened considerably. He’s observed that in the first half of life (roughly until age 40), most people can maintain good health without significant effort. However, after age 40, staying healthy requires more active participation and intentional care. This understanding shapes how he works with patients at different stages of life, meeting them where they are and providing guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Life Beyond the Practice
When he’s not serving patients, Dr. Tobey enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling with his wife. Growing up in a close-knit family taught him the importance of hard work and kindness. He and his wife raised a family of their own, and are now delighted to see so many family members returning to the Bend area.
